“So, there‘s a pair of mercenaries in the area?” Frederick Wilson asked Bernadette Quaid. He was patching up the wall of the vast “garage”, still banged up from its last encounter with Eleanor Cameron and her famous experiments. “That could be a bad thing. Any idea about their powers?”
Bernadette drifted up to meet Frederick’s eyes, about fifteen feet up the wall. “They’ve got mind-related powers, so they’re really dangerous. Plus, one of them really loathes the ILUC.”
“So we have two more mental guys to watch out for; what else is new?” Eleanor asked. She was leaning over what appeared to be a particularly potent experiment. Trying to infuse a powerful antivenin into a good quality lip gloss without ruining the flavour or colour. So far it wasn’t working too well.
“They could start working for the Puppeteer!” Bernadette shouted back.
“Could you please pipe down?” Liam Mitchellson called from across the room. “It’s hard to listen to music and then compose your own with lots of talking.”
“You have your music room!” Eleanor shouted back.
“The best stereo is over here!” Liam replied. “Anyways, this is more important than lip gloss or patching walls,” he added with a sideways glance at Bernadette and Frederick, who were much closer than necessary.
“I’ll move your stereo to the music room later,” the superstrong man provided helpfully.
“I’ll help,” Bernadette offered.
“Nah, you should go get the pasta started,” Frederick reminded her. Lionel was back from his mini-vacation with his girlfriend, but out for a fancy masquerade ball with her for the evening.  Bernadette lowered herself to the ground lightly, applying fractions of gravitational force upon her body until she was back at 1 G. Then she skipped lightly to the kitchen, where Stephen was already hard at work making a meat sauce.

Eric Fawkes was alone very little during his waking hours and his sleeping hours were a little looser only because Peter got bored. So him wandering the streets of Westminster alone was a thrill. A terrible one, yes, but a thrill nonetheless.
“Oh, Marie-Giselle,” he said, noticing said thief in her street clothes, walking down the sidewalk. “Marie-Giselle!” he called again. She turned her head to look for who was calling her.
“Eric?” she wondered. When the man was right in front of her, though, she could see it really was him.
“Eric, it’s good to see you!” she said happily, throwing her arms around him. Eric stiffened automatically. Generally physical contact meant either using his very dangerous gifts or Peter, neither of which was particularly pleasurable. However, he relaxed when Marie-Giselle pulled back.
“You look worse than normal,” she said.
“Thanks,” Eric answered softly, looking at his friend with mild irritation.
“I only speak the truth to my friends,” she replied with a laugh. But it was true. The dark shadows under his eyes were more pronounced and his cheeks seemed a bit sunken.
“Peter’s been in a bit of a sulk, lately. Robert’s being a pest more and more.” He laughed lightly and then coughed.
“Can I get you a coffee?”
“Robert’s already gotten me one and talked my ear off,” Eric assured.
“He did that for me as well last week. Doesn’t seem to matter who it is, as long as he’s talking to someone.” Marie-Giselle rolled her eyes and walked alongside her friend of fifteen years anyways.

A very short little interlude before I get to work on the big pieces. William and Dove's "date", Lionel with Cecily's team fighting off Glacier, and more crazy!Robbie. Those I'll need the long weekend for. That and Episode 14, which I can't seem to shape in my head properly. It's going from a Cassia episode to a Cassiah episode. Huh.

Oh, and Lina, sorry about not doing the Lionel-mit-team-et-Glacier fight now. (OhGodIjustbutcheredthreelanguagesatonce.)

I likes it! Especially the fact that, for once, you actually have a couple paired off and ACKNOWLEDGED as a couple, not just me assuming things as always. Anywho, me likey. Now would you hurry up so we can get back to that oh-so-glorious world of fantasy and fluff we left hanging a few weeks back -cry-
:iconvioletzeecofreak:
Wait... which couple? Lionel and Erin, Bernadette and Frederick, or Eric and Peter? Characters are always paired off quite handily in my stuff, actually.

Actually, I'm not particularly fond of this so-called "world of fantasy and fluff". Maybe I'm just not an arpeer anymore or somethin'. That and I only log on for, like, five minutes and if you're not on I log out for the night.

We've got to start coordinating our logging on times. We always seem to miss each other. How can you not like something we just barely started?!? Give it a chance! I'm glad Gabby likes Kyle. Who knows, it could be another summer fling for Kyle =P I'm kidding. I hope they get together though. He's a good guy. The one that was plainly stated in the story. The one that went on that vacation and went to a masquerade ball. I like them already -giggle-

I just dislike it. Maybe it's because the beginning, in my mind, flubbed. The thing's pacing is already ded.

Lionel and Erin? Mmmhmm, those two are fun to write. Lina does a wonderful job of them in Masquerades, too. As well as every other couple she writes.

I'm curious what you think of Eric/Peter, peticularly after Team-Ups.

I missed you by 27 freakin minutes!!!! Definatly need more coordination in timing....I don't mind restarting the beginning....It's not an issue as long as i get to write something. I'm BORED!!!!! Lionel <3 Erin. They are very cute. Something like I would write....depending. Eric/Peter....it's....interesting. Fun to read for sure. And I can defiantly picture Eric getting a little weirded out by Peter's antics.
:iconvioletzeecofreak:
Oh, you could try your hand at this 'verse, too, with your own character set. It's actually quite a bit of fun.
"Antics" is not the word I'd use, but you're about right. It's more like semi-consensual... stuff. ^^ Those two are fantastic fun to write.

Verse with your own characters? Explain please. It sounds interesting though. I can tell they're fun =P
:iconvioletzeecofreak:
You'd probably have to ask Lina first, but you'd be writing something to complement the "Words on" series we seem to be making. You know, gifted and the like being heroes in Westminster.

Again, one of my favorites and no commenting. What was I doing those couple of weeks?

Anyways, this one's short and sweet :D I love pretty much all of the garage scene, and sweet sweet mentionings of my characters! Whoo~ XD By the way, did I cut off Lionel and Erin's vacation too early? By the way, I just realized that you can make all kinds of crack if you make a typo and write Eric instead of Erin for half of this stuff. XD Or vice versa. Dun dun dunnnn... Erin's cheating on Lionel! D8

Poor Eric. And I'm starting to like Marie-Giselle a little more... :3 And finally, I just want to give Robert a hug XD

Especially since you've already done the oneshot anyways, Don't worry about it! ^^ I'm happy with what I get :D At least you're not butchering three characters at once like I've been doing with your characters lately >_> Your stuff is always good. Sorry again for the butchery... I seem to be using subs a lot in this comment... XD;
