Ugggghh...

Mon Sep 21, 2009, 12:06 PM
  • Mood: Triumph
  • Listening to: When Love Takes Over (don't judge me, please)
  • Reading: Mort - Terry Pratchett
  • Watching: Hetalia episode 35
  • Eating: Nothing 'cause my throat's sore
  • Drinking: Water
My throoooooat hurts like whoa. I had choir, too. Blegh. You know what this means. Aww, dangit, now I have a serious case of the sniffles and I can't stop sneezing. /whining

Oh, and Hetalia episode 35 is officially the best episode evar. (That, and when they introduce Belarus. "Brother, let's get marriedmarriedmarried!" INDEED!)

Oh, and this is a list of the nine or so things I have to do, still.

-Type up "Earl Golding and the Amazingly Short Story"
-Type up "Sunni Fails at Scaring"
-Do Episode 15 (2%)
-Finish Rapture of the Deep. (5%)
-Another chapter of True North and Maple Leaves (5%)
-Words on Origins III (Lionel, Erin, and ____)
-Words on Spare Time (Dove, William, Eric, Marie-Giselle)
-Wheat and Sky sequel and de-anoning
-Words on the Impossible

Typical system applies. Finished tasks will be struck out, percentages based on my lousy estimated will be updated.

Oh, since I seem to myself so engorged with my schooling, I haven't asked you about yours.

What classes are you taking this year?

:iconvioletzeecofreak:
I have IB English, Chemestry, IB History, Film, and Christian Ethics, plus Senior Choir (which is for all boys and junior and senior girls. Freshmen and sophomore girls have their own choir.) Essentially, I love every single class I have except Ethics, and so far it hasn't been too bad.

Thank you for asking.

What does "IB" mean? I'm wondering if it something akin to an honors system...

Oo! Senior Choir! How's that like at your school?

Oh, and what's wrong with your Ethics class? (As for my school, we've got honors theo that isn't characterized by "accept this or die"... or so I've heard that the regular classes can be like that.)

Thank you for telling me. :D

International Bacculareate (no points for spelling, obviously). It's like AP, except you do a certain number of projects that are submitted to a group of teachers to be graded. And everyone in the IB program all over the globe has to send in stuff. So basically I'm being graded against people all over the world.

I did the voice check today. Was fun. I think I got into the choir, but the teacher was kinda vague on it.

I should've been clearer. I have a deep passionate love for all my classes and am really excited to go to them except Ethics, which I remain neutral on. Nothing's wrong with that and they're not all "accept or die" rawr business. All good~

Wow. Sounds... esteemed. How are you handling those classes?

Mm, I see... hopefully you'll pull it off. I had auditions for Vocal Ensemble yesterday: messed up on a pitch or two, but otherwise did fairly okay. And got to sing twice! (My teacher said I had the misfortune of being the only second tenor in the hallway)
But in seriousness: hoping you pull it off!

I see. A deep passionate love for your classes. Intriguing how this year worked out like that: I liked every one of my classes except for AB Calculus, which just has a horrible atmosphere. I'm actually working on fanning myself during class period to stay awake.
But I'm quite glad for this passion you have. That should make the school year a lot funner, shouldn't it?
